Overall, i can only say that i'm the most relaxed of all at the camp. Because all i did was photograph the moments while the other committee had to do all the stuff. Like arranging Tees, calming the campers, lead them to Time Square (we had a treasure hunt game), make sure the programmes goes well etc etc
We also had camp songs, where the committee will dance, and the campers will follow. I mean, which camp doesn't have a camp dance and camp song right?
Of course every time after the day's activity we committees have meetings and recall what we did and what can we change and what should we do next regarding our mistakes that day. The meeting was the time where all committees sit together and interact and discuss, that's where i felt really impressed with them, they can sacrifice their sleep time to discuss all this, and in the same time, get ready for the challenges the next day. That few days was the moment where i was the most sleep deprived.
Of course there were the campers from SG and MY. They were all filtered and mixed in a group. And there were lots of groups. They were to discuss their group names, make their group flag, choose a leader, etc etc like most camps. Of course, they were told to not to get their flags stolen.
This is the father. He's dancing to our camp song. |
Here's the bad guys stealing the team's flag. |
AND OF COURSE THERE WERE GAMING SESSIONS!!!!
I've never really noticed this, but the teamwork shown in this camp is really the best i've ever seen. Singaporeans and Malaysians coming together, working as a team, they laugh together, cry together and sweat together. To me, this game, there were no success and failure, i think everyone's a great success and i'm happy to see them like this. I mean, God is happy to see them happy together.
Look at their faces. Even though most of it were drawn with lipstick if u look closely. HAHAHAHAHA
Fashion show :D |
This was the night where we had our camp fire. |
And the following will be my photos with the other committees that fight together that few days, sleep deprived, happy, sad, mad, confused, all come together. We were like a family in such a short period of time. And of course i've known a few other good friends.
Farewells are always the saddest. /.\
i don't have much to say actually. But i truly had fun and gained lots of experience. Overall it was really okay. If there were any chance again, to interact with catholics from other country and also of course our own country, i'd definitely join again :)
Anna signing off.
