Dear St. Anne, can you please help me tell Jesus to tell God that i want
A healthy family?

Grandpa funeral.

It's been a while! Humans! Seriously I'm just posting this now... It happened long time ago, but i don't think anyone mind as long as they have something to read :)

So here it is, my grandpa's funeral post. There's lots of stuff i know nothing about this funeral since I'm a Catholic, but I'm going to share it to you guys anyway. It's something new for me, and also you people.

Well, last last Tuesday, 26/6/2012, i was eager to come home from school. It wasn't because i had heart-to-heart connection with my grandpa or something, but i wanted to go home because there's new maxis fibre Internet coming, i wanted to tryout the new speed. 10mbps. When i got home, as expected, a lorry was parked outside my house, omg, i crap much didn't i?

Let's get to the point, My dad opened the door for me which was actually quite unexpected. The first thing he ever told me when i enter the house was :"Get ready and pack your stuff, we're going back to Penang, Grandpa passed away this morning."

I literally stunned. Grandpa......passed away....... how?
So i asked.
He told me he passed away in his sleep, he also don't know how. We will know more details once we're back to Penang.
Passed away in his sleep, how peaceful....
FYI, my grandpa is 93 years old. Lived long enough.

It was a rush, we had to wait for the guys to finish fixing the new Internet, and by the time we move out to Penang, it was about 4-5pm. And the time we arrived at Penang was at night. We changed into black, and attached the um, we call it 披麻戴孝 in Chinese. Not sure what's it called, but here' the picture.
We also tied a white string on our wrist.

Here are some pictures.

Those stuff u see above are stuff that they wanted to burn. Chinese believes that after burning, the person that passed away would receive them.

Here's my 2nd uncle.

This is a blurry photo of um, all the relatives.

Stuff going on at night. Prayers and all.

These are the visitors that came.

These coins are prepared for crossing the "bridge" (bridge picture shown below.)
Here's the bridge. We have to cross it 12 times, i think, and throwing the coin down, (there's a basin) and shout "AH gong cross bridge", i think in Chinese they have this, bridge crossing thingy to go to the other side, and by helping our grandpa to go to heaven, we have to do it.

Last day of the funeral. The burial day.

Me, mum and 3rd brother.

Siblings.

Family.

It's been 4-5 days since i came to Penang, today's the last day already.

Here's the eldest cousin's son.

And the music band that came, which the little guy finds it noisy and irritating.

Cousins and brothers.
Male, Female pork.

Relatives, cousins.

The End for the pork.

After that, we went to Armenian street. There's this mural painter name Zacharevic that goes around Penang Armenian street to do his mural painting, by doing this, he attracted lots of tourist and people from Penang to go to this isolated place. His painting gets into cover of magazine and also local newspaper. This is a really old place, which bricks fall and paintings fades.

He uses stuff like REAL chair, bicycle and motor to finish his paintings. As such.

This too, is his work, but it fades quickly.

Here's the painting that got famous.
Drawn based on real photographs of two sisters. The bike is real, the sisters are drawn on the wall.

Me and my levitation. Those kids were afraid when they saw me.
Big sister:" duh, why are u hugging so tight? It's ticklish!"
Younger sister:" QUICK!! RUUNNN!! The scary lady is floating and catching up!!"

Here's the painting that uses real motorbike.

See the guy? He's looking at me just like those girls. WHY IS THIS GIRL FLYING AROUND?!
P/s: the hair were meant to be captured flying, seem real.

Alleys too.

And again.
Yet again.

And again!

Can't do levitation while tickling that guy, big fail. :)
Bad ass bro. :P
After that, there were some kind of parade going on by the Buddhist society. And we hang around watching until the sky turned dark.

BTW, it's DURIAN SEASON! Get to eat delicious durian this time, AWESOME! :3
