A.S.K camp.

Credits to Sarah and Megan and those involved in photographing this camp.

So this is a really late post, it's something that happened months ago. Haha, but well, here i am, typing my experience that i had on A.S.K camp.

Ask

This is a Christian camp organised by the student of Catholic Student Society, UTAR.

The participants weren't much, but that's one of the benefits of it, you can know each other well because the circle is not too big. It's a 3 days 2 nights camp.

From this camp, i learned some new stuff, played some awesome game, know some new friends, and had great times together with all those awesome people who participated in the camp. All in all, thank God for bringing us together. :)

Registration booth.

Respective name tags.

We went there by bus, so practically everyone were there at the same time.

Here's me and my brother (yellow shirt) registrating ourselves.

The little booklet i'm holding contains of what activities we're gonna do for this 3 days 2 nights etc etc.

Committee seniors.
From left Samuel, Sarah, Samantha, Cecelia and Cynthia.
So many S and Cs. haha.

We were brought to our dorms, girls one dorm and guys one dorm. We set up our own mattress and it's a simple mattress on the floor, it actually is a whole new experience for people who are too used to "comfortable". But overall, it was okay. :)

The participants. We sat down listening to the Emcees.

There were some introductions and ice breaking going on.
Everyone introduced their name, course, hometown, status, and adjective for their names. ETC ETC.
It was a great laugh.

We had Taize prayers. Although i gotta admit i was really sleepy during the period of the prayers. :( :( I'm so sorry.

They decorated it very beautifully. It was like candlelight dinner. Very romantic. HAHA.

There's a new member who joined us before the taize prayer session.

DAY 2.

It wasn't the usual MORNING EXERCISE stretching all. It was dancing the camp song. I enjoyed it very very much. Especially with the weather so cooling and the beautiful view. I gotta admit that Kampar have beautiful view, mountains and trees. This place is just pure beauty.

And then, we had breakfast.
Here's me and the brother.

Praise and worship.

Shoulder to shoulder.
I was actually having sore throat that few days, and it was TERRIBLE, i spoke like a crow. My voice is a total messed up. :'(

Prayers.

The worship group.
They sang really well.

And there's this guy who sell us books about christians, marriage, etc etc.

And there were a series of talks. Here's one of it about sex education.
There were sharing session and more, and i gotta say it's a total benefit to us.

They were the "example" XD

And of course the session that every campers are looking forward to in every camp.

We were WET AND MUDDY AND AWESOME by the end of the games.

UTAR CSS (catholic student society) church sketch for the season of LENT.

So it's the season of lent for all christians again. And during this time of the year, UTAR CSS are having a church sketch. I'm having fun bringing my camera to church. It is indeed enjoyable. And so i snapped a few photos of my friends. :)

Here's Leon.

This is GRACE.
With her LET IT GO!~~

And this little kid, we met in the van, (which was the transport provided by the church to send us to church every Sunday) he was real shy at first, but god-knows-what happened to him and he suddenly kept drinking water and spitting at us. Hahaha, but he's a real cutie.

His name is Nicholas, if not mistaken :)

From the left, Christovery, Sharon and Mathilda.

Here's Ricky. He's from Sabah :) Very very funny and sweet guy.

A random kid we met in church, his name is Sylvester. Friendly and cute smile :3

This is the priest.

And the sketch starts.
Based on MY understanding, (if i'm wrong, correct me) This story is about a girl who is lost of her ways in life. She live a life without christ, without Jesus. And there's this blind man that fell, she acted like she didn't know what happened and walked away.

Both of the strangers came to help him up. And i believe they're christians.

Then the beggar appears from among the crowd.

The girl, which is Cynthia, and her friends ignored his begging and showed out that they dislike him because he smells.

And there were dance and worship going on one day, and Cynthia passed by and saw it.

Still. She says no.

And then she sat down.

There were LOVE.

WEALTH. Which everyone loves SOOO MUCH.

And also.... God.

She met the love of her life, and they danced.
But later, the man saw another woman and chased after her.

This, if i'm not mistaken, is the boss, and her project or whichever it is got rejected.

You're FIRED!
And a guy, who i believed is the gangster, hit her and asked her what's her problem.

And she was bullied by a bunch of gangsters.

BADLY.

She was cleaning her wounds, sad and depressed.

When a bunch of christians came to help her.

And introduced her to..... GOD.

The sketch ends with a dance. :)

They were interviewed.
